Superintendent responds to Independent’s editorial To the editor:It is with great respect that I respond to the Woodburn Independent Aug. 11 editorial, “Woodburn must do a better job teaching Spanish-speaking students.” There are several remarks about the Woodburn School District’s (WSD) Spanish-speaking students that do not reflect our true work with our students, regardless of their spoken language.
