Kennedy girls climb into second place tie with victory

Sluggish for three quarters, Trojans outpace Bulldogs 16-6 in fourth to get 34-24 victory

MOUNT ANGEL — Thanks to a pesky defense and timely shooting in the fourth quarter, the Kennedy girls basketball was able to overcome a stalled offense and come away with a key 34-24 Tri-River Conference victory over Culver on Friday.
