MOUNT ANGEL — Mount Angel’s Oktoberfest has been around for
almost half a century, since 1965. As the years and decades have passed, there
have been a few constants inherent in this annual festival: There has always
been concern about what kind of weather there would be on Oktoberfest weekend;
those attending always seem to have a ton of fun; and there has been one unique
vendor that has been attending this grand community festival almost every year
since Oktoberfest began.
