Use of deadly force ruled justified by Marion County Grand Jury

Officers cleared
Cpl. Shawn Hershberger, Sgt. Andron Shadrin and Officer Tom Courson were cleared by a Marion County Grand Jury for the use of deadly force in the Sept. 18 shooting of Librado Perez-Sanchez.
WOODBURN — On Oct. 4, a Marion County grand jury unanimously found that three Woodburn Police Department officers were justified in using deadly force against Librado Perez-Sanchez, 20, who was firing a shotgun on the night of Sept.
