Helping to rebuild — one meal at a time

Woodburn resident Lynne Duda worked for two weeks with the American Red Cross, delivering meals to people along the Jersey Shore cleaning up from Hurricane Sandy

Lynne Duda, a Woodburn resident and employee of North Marion School District, hands out a hot meal to a resident of Seaside Heights, N.J., where Duda was assigned as an American Red Cross volunteer for two weeks this month.
The cleanup continues in the Northeastern U.S. after Hurricane Sandy devastated the region in late October, and Oregon residents have been actively involved.
