Woodburn to play for third consecutive state championship

Bulldogs beat Hood River Valley 2-1 in Class 5A semifinals Tuesday

He scored the games first goal at the 4:30 mark of the first half and then he had the assist on Freddy Centeno's game-clinching goal in the 50th minute. The Bulldogs will play for a third consecutive state championship Saturday at Hillsboro Stadium against Mt. View.
WOODBURN — Woodburn will play for its third consecutive state championship after beating Hood River Valley, 2-1, in the Class 5A semifinals on Tuesday evening at Woodburn High School.
