Students helping students: Instilling a love of reading

Both girls urged resource teacher Kathleen Kuftin, who started the program, to continue through the summer. The book swap helpers, including about a dozen other fifth-graders and their siblings, assist students who bring a book to the reading area to trade it out for another book.
