Hubbard’s new fire chief, Bill Hansen, officially took on his duties on Jan. 7, following the retirement of longtime chief Joe Dryden early this year. Hansen, who first began working for the Hubbard Fire District as an intern in 2002, has a decade of experience in firefighting and emergency medical services.
HUBBARD — New Hubbard Fire Chief Bill Hansen knows he has some big boots to fill, but he believes that his predecessor — Joe Dryden, who had served as chief in Hubbard since January 1994 — prepared him well to step into the role.
