Armandina Medina is the grand marshal for the 49th Fiesta Mexicana parade, which starts in downtown Woodburn at noon this Saturday and ends at Legion Park. Medina has lived in Woodburn for 56 years and volunteered at the first Fiesta Mexicana in 1964, working with the Fiesta Court.
Although many community members can’t remember a Woodburn without Fiesta Mexicana, Armandina Medina was there when it all started.
