Dick Jennings died Friday and will leave a huge hole in many areas in Woodburn. At the time of his death, he was serving on the Woodburn Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors, was the director of Woodburn Cable Access Television and was involved in many other community endeavors.
Richard Jennings was a lot of things to a lot of people.
“He was my mentor,” said Charlie Piper, who worked with Jennings for over 20 years with the Woodburn Fire District.
