Locked out: County steps in and evicts transients from Wilson Street house

Marion County Sheriff’s Office removes transients, county takes ownership of nuisance home on Wilson Street

Police have posted “No Trespassing” signs all over this house at 1040 Wilson St. after Marion County took possession of the house last week. Two transients were arrested for outstanding warrants and nine were evicted from the home.
WOODBURN — Last week Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with Woodburn police officers, took control of a house located at 1040 Wilson St.
