A dream come true: Eleazar Puente’s dream of owning his own business became a reality thanks to a TV show and Auntie Anne’s

Eleazar Puente, store manager of Auntie Anne’s at Woodburn Company Stores, makes close to 1,000 pretzels a day, he said. Puente recently won his own franchise on the A&E reality television show, “Be the Boss,” which aired Dec. 16, by competing in various challenges against an Auntie Anne’s employee from Florida.
Thanks to a reality show competition, Eleazar Puente is able to realize his dream. Through A&E’s reality show “Be the Boss,” the Woodburn resident went head to head for a chance at a promotion through his company, Auntie Anne’s, and walked away with the keys to his own franchise.
