Lincoln students get up close and personal with wild animals

Lincoln Elementary second-grade teacher Freda Schmelzer was a good sport in front of students last week, allowing a tarantula to walk on her arm, which was brought to the school from Rick of Wildlife Encounters.
Lincoln Elementary School hosted Rick of Wildlife Encounters on Nov. 29 in an assembly for kindergartners, first-graders and second-graders.
