Business owner feels singled out

Woodburn resident Salvador Larios, the owner of Chavita’s Foods, wonders why his business at 405 N. First Street is being forced to comply with a long list of extra requirements other businesses do not have to deal with. In late September, the Woodburn City Council members voted unanimously to add four more specifics to what was already an extensive list of provisions they want Larios to follow.
WOODBURN — The Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) may soon grant a full liquor license to Chavita’s Foods, a Woodburn grocery store, but apparently the Woodburn City Council doesn’t like it.
