Emergency personnel scour through wreckage Monday afternoon after a helicopter crashed in a Christmas tree farm off Crosby Road in rural Woodburn. One person was taken by lifeflight to Oregon Health and Sciences University Hospital in Portland.
WOODBURN — A private helicopter crashed just north of Woodburn on Monday at approximately 3 p.m.
The Woodburn Fire Department, Woodburn Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office were among the first responders at the scene, which was in an agricultural area in the 10000 block of Crosby Road.
