All nine passengers and the bus driver got off safely as this SMART transit bus caught fire near the Donald/Aurora exit on Interstate 5 on Wednesday. The southbound lanes of the freeway were closed for about 15 minutes before one lane was opened up.
AURORA — No one was injured Wednesday afternoon when a
40-foot SMART transit bus caught fire in the southbound lane of Interstate 5
near the Donald/Aurora interchange.
