Mt. Angel School District helps students, staff deal with tragedy

Mt. Angel Superintendent Bob Young said Monday was a ‘very emotional’ day for staff and students

Devin Hunt, 9, and Dawson Hunt, 12 (right), died in a two-vehicle crash just outside of Mt. Angel. Devin attended St. Mary's Public School and Dawson attended Mt. Angel Middle School. Marion County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the crash. The boys' father, Lenny Hunt, was flown to Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. The extent of his injuries is not known.
MT. ANGEL — Two Mt. Angel boys were killed in a Saturday morning car crash and four others were injured in the two-car accident at Dominic Road Northeast and Meridian Road Northeast around 11:17 a.
