Prosecutors paint Turnidges as anti-police, anti-government

Marion County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Hart ruled that anti-government statements Bruce Turnidge made 30 years ago would be allowed during the trial, but not during opening statements.
SALEM — The prosecution plans to depict the father-son duo accused of the 2008 Woodburn bank bombing as men with “anti-government sentiments and a hatred of the police.
