Moises Reynoso, 24, of Woodburn, turned himself in to Marion County Sheriff's Deputies this week on several sex crimes.
WOODBURN — Moises Reynoso, wanted in connection with several sex crimes in July, turned himself in to Marion County Sheriff’s officers Thursday.

Woodburn police wanted Reynoso in connection with a July 27 incident in the 700 block of W. Lincoln Street.

Capt. Jason Alexander, of the Woodburn Police Department, said the investigation into Reynoso began after a neighbor heard a fight between Reynoso and his girlfriend.

“A good Samaritan called in a fight, so we arrived and found a 19-year-old victim and determined there was domestic violence,” Alexander said.

“Through that investigation we found possession and delivery of marijuana, which led us to obtain a search warrant for the house. Through that investigation, we found that a minor had been sexually abused and displayed in an explicit sexual manner.”

After turning himself in, Reynoso was charged with four counts of sex abuse I (assault against someone under 14) and 20 counts of using a child in display of sexually explicit conduct.

Each one of the 24 above charges are Measure 11 crimes. In addition, he was charged with attempted sodomy I, possession of marijuana and delivery of marijuana. He was also charged with two counts of strangulation.

Reynoso, 24, is lodged in the Marion County Jail.
