WOODBURN — The Woodburn Company Stores hosted its eighth annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony Nov. 21. To help the mall with the event, The Coats performed several songs on a stage set up in front of the Eddie Bauer Outlet store.

The Coats were introduced by K103 FM morning show hosts Dana Jeffries and John Erickson. After a short concert, Santa was brought on stage to help Jeffries and Erickson with the countdown to light the 90-foot Christmas tree.

Parts of the Woodburn Company Stores’ parking lot was closed off to accompany the giant crowd of tree- and concert-watchers.

Also brought out on the stage was Love Santa Inc. president, Robert Prinslow (below). The company stores are once again partnering with Love Santa to help feed and give Christmas joy to needy families in the greater Woodburn area.
