Donkeys overrun North Marion

AURORA — The North Marion Eighth Grade Celebration Committee is hosting a night of laughter, fun, food and raffle prizes Nov. 19 at North Marion Middle School. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a spaghetti dinner where raffle tickets can be purchased fro prizes.
 
Next, attendees will watch local teams from the fire department, police department, teachers, coaches and students go for the title of Donkey Basketball Champions in the gym.
 
Dinner prices are $4.50 for adults, $3 for children or $15 for a family of two adults and up to four children. Donkey basketball tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for students grades 3-12. Prices go up $1 at the door.
 
Tickets can be purchased at North Marion Middle School, Donald Café, Aurora General Store, Hubbard Market or by calling Gina Audritsh at 503-951-2344. Anyone wishing to donate items for the raffle should also call Audritsh.
