Rey Ruiz scored 16 points — including 11 in the third quarter when Woodburn cut a 13-point deficit to just five points. Woodburn couldn’t dig itself out of the hole, however, and fell to 0-4 in Mid-Willamette Conference play with a 64-49 loss to West Albany.
