Ishmael Arendano-Lopez, a life skills student at Heritage Elementary School, greets Rojo, a 10-year-old therapeutic llama who visited the school on Oct. 31. Rojo, who is specially trained to work with special needs children, came to the school, not only to meet special education students, but also to humor the student body by receiving a kiss from Principal Irene Novichihin and Associate Principal Greg Baisch in an assembly, which was awarded to students because of their demonstration of positive behavior.
