Robin Chung (above), a student teacher in Christina Maddy’s second-grade class, reads with students Ali Davis (left) and Daisy Cruz. Chung is in the master’s program at Willamette University and, thanks to a partnership between the university and Gervais School District, is able to work hands-on throughout the year while still getting support from professors.
