The first phase of the Mount Angel Festhalle was completed in September 2011, as pictured above. The Festhalle, which is used as the Biergarten during Mount Angel’s Oktoberfest, hosts auctions, reunions, fundraisers and other events throughout the year. Organizers just announced phase two of the Festhalle project will begin shortly, meaning the completion of two meeting rooms and a bathroom upstairs as well as an elevator. The goal for the fundraising committee is $350,000 for this phase.
