Hopping to the beat

The annual Hubbard Hop Festival on Saturday was blessed with wonderful weather and a great turnout. The festivities kicked off with a morning parade. One creative entrant featured the “Chaps & Petticoats” square dancers from Aurora, swinging away on a flatbed trailer being pulled along the parade route by an antique John Deere tractor from 1936.
