A black day in Woodburn

Thick clouds of smoke rise from Woodburn High School after fire broke out near the former wood shop area on the north side of the building. Firefighters with the Woodburn Fire District responded and by 9:45 a.m. were fully engaged in battling a growing blaze. More than a dozen fire districts around the area sent crews or equipment to help contain the flames.
