Homeless count

Tuesday, Jan 31, 2012

Doug Burkhardt

Volunteers from the Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency offered free food as part of the annual “Homeless Count Day” event at the A.W.A.R.E. Food Bank in Woodburn. Approximately 250 people showed up for hot dogs and cake while they filled out a survey. The count helps communities gain funding to provide resources to address the needs of the homeless.
