Car crashes into house

Richard Thompson peers out from his smashed up front porch after a pickup truck careened through the stop sign across the street, crossed the intersection, ran across Thompson’s front yard and into his home at 2202 W. Hayes St. The driver of the car, identified by the Woodburn Police Department as Esequiel Soto, 24, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including hit and run, careless driving and recklessly endangering another person, among other charges.
