Black walnut down

Tuesday, Oct 25, 2011

Doug Burkhardt

A crew from Bruno Tree Care, an Aurora company, works to take down one of Woodburn’s towering black walnut trees. Four dead black walnut trees around the city are slated to be removed soon, including this one outside the city’s post office. The contractor plans to salvage the lumber and use it for making furniture.
