75th anniversary

Friday, Aug 26, 2011

Doug Burkhardt

Family ties: Two of the co-owners of Hubbard Chevrolet — Terri Berkey-Gonzalez and Jack Berkey — pose with a pristine 1936 Chevrolet that was purchased new at the dealership in 1936. The car was sold soon after Hubbard Chevrolet founder Willis Berkey obtained a Chevrolet franchise and started selling the now-classic cars to residents of the community. The longtime family business is celebrating its 75th anniversary this month.
