Volunteers have finished laying the foundation of the future CAPACES Leadership Institute on the 300 block of Young Street behind the Northwest Treeplanter and Farmworkers United (PCUN) headquarters. When finished, the building will be the first non-residential structure in the United States to get Passive House certification, a rigorous energy efficiency standard.
