Jury recommends death penalty for Turnidges

Janet Turnidge, the wife of Bruce and mother of Joshua, stared ahead as the verdict was read Wednesday. After learning her husband and son may both be put to death, Janet said, “It’s all in God’s hands.” To her right sat Joshua’s ex-fiancé, Jamie Lewis, who testified she is still in love with the 34-year-old convicted murderer.
