High school volunteers appreciated for efforts
To the editor:
I would like to send salutes to the students from Woodburn High School who volunteered to rake and remove leaves in The Estates in order to gain community service credits.

Just say no to I-5 interchange project
To the editor:
As I sit outside on my porch, sipping my morning coffee — usually the most favorite part of my day — my ears are blasted by the sound of the freeway noise, reminding me of living across from the Woodburn Dragstrip, and driving me back indoors to get away from the noise.

Local churches should have honored victims of recent school shooting
To the editor:
I felt disappointing and overwhelming sadness as our community’s churches didn’t participate in the tribute to the 26 murdered in Connecticut.
