Vera Morrell, 97, of Albany, died Oct. 28, 2012. She was born Sept. 27, 1915, in Center, N.D. to Paul and Augusta Wolf.
She married Perry Morrell in 1934 and they moved to Issaquah, Wash.

Lohree Helen Kaup Horswill, 95, of Woodburn, died Oct. 24, 2012. She was born Feb. 7, 1917 in Dallas, Ore., to Etta and Charles Kaup.
She died quietly and peacefully departed this life to sit in the kingdom of the Lord.

Benjamin Parton Field, 93, of Woodburn, died Nov. 1, 2012. He was born March 25, 1919 in Grand Rapids, Mich. to Benjamin and Vivian (Parton) Field.
He graduated from Grand Rapids High School and then attended the University of Illinois.

Harold Joseph Waltner, 84, of Hubbard, died Oct. 31, 2012. He was born March 14, 1928 in Monroe, Wash. to Joseph and Anna (Peters) Waltner.
He married Virgene Turk in 1949 at Richmond Beach, Wash.

William Goyne Edwards, 89, of Woodburn, died Nov. 13, 2012. He was born May 25, 1923 in Casper, Wyo.
He was a loving father and great friend to many and he will be missed by all.

Ardell Jean Chase, 89, of Woodburn, died in her home Nov. 19, 2012, after a heroic battle with cancer. She was born May 17, 1923 to Ingrid and Swan Colson on a farm near Humboldt, Minn.

Tomi Dilley, 83, of Woodburn, died Nov. 18, 2012. She was born Feb. 1, 1929 in Okinawa, Japan to Seiei and Haru (Zakabi) Uchima.
She lived and worked in Okinawa until meeting her husband, Walter Dilley, Jr.

Margaret Theresa Reis, 97, of Gervais, died Nov. 19, 2012. She was born March 20, 1915 in Scotland, Texas to Frank and Pauline Beyer Bartsch. She was the second youngest of 13 children.

She attended University of Washington and went on to get her master’s degree from New York University and her Ph.

He was a U.S. Marine and served in World War II.
