AURORA — A Woodburn man was involved in a pedestrian-involved crash that temporarily closed Interstate 5 near Aurora this morning.
Around 9:05 a.m., Oregon State Police reported to the scene near milepost 281 where Joren Moon Love, 26, of Portland had apparently been struck by a 2005 Chevrolet cargo truck, owned by Overhead Door Co.

MOUNT ANGEL — Mount Angel City Administrator Susan Muir is going from managing one city in Oregon to, in a fashion, overseeing all of them.
Muir, who has served as Mount Angel’s city administrator since April 2010, is taking a new job with the Salem-based League of Oregon Cities.

But they’ll settle for being the longest married couple in Oregon, as recognized by the Worldwide Marriage Encounter, a Christian organization that provides marriage enrichment programs and honors couples that have been married a long time.
