HUBBARD — Two people were taken into custody Friday morning after a homeowner caught them in the act of burglarizing his house in Hubbard.

A Mount Angel man was killed Friday afternoon in a traffic crash along Highway 214 north of Silverton.
Robert Benjamin Bernabe del Rosario, 35, of Mount Angel, was killed after he lost control of his 2002 Honda Civic approaching the intersection of Downs Road Northeast and Highway 214.
