AURORA — Folks, we’re experiencing some turbulence in the Aurora State Airport master plan process. It’s time to fasten your seat belts. Because of funding issues, the airport’s 20-year plan, started last November, did a touch and go — taking off, landing and then taking off again.

Mikkola returns to active duty

WOODBURN — Woodburn Police Sgt. John Mikkola is back at work after being shot three times earlier this year. Doctors released him back to active duty with the Woodburn Police Department (WPD) on July 14 after three and a half months of rest and rehabilitation.
